From Title 8, U.S. Code
Immigration and Naturalization Act
"Permanent Resident
- Any person not a citizen of the United States who is residing in the
U.S. under legally recognized and lawfully recorded permanent residence
as an immigrant." (bold/italics mine)
"Alien - Any person not a Citizen or National of the United States."
The Politically Correct "Talking Heads" can say what they like.
The Ufologists can continue to look skyward and the Slur Nazis can
jump in the lake. There is no such thing as an Illegal Immigrant,
folks.
It's a Politically Correct, Slur Pure oxymoron.
Immigrants are here 'legally', Aliens are not. Simple as that. It's right there in black and white....oops.
Aliens are, in fact, in violation of Federal Law. How, then, can
they expect to receive the benefits and protection of the very Laws
they are breaking???? I'm confused!
The Declaration of Independence says something about "Ourselves and Our
Posterity". It does not add 'and anyone who wants to sneak in
when no one's looking'. The Bill of Rights outlines those actions
which our Government may not take against United States Citizens nor
those who have been permitted residency by the United States
Government. Anyone else? Does not apply.
When you are found to be driving a car without a license you're guilty
by virtue of the very fact that no license has been issued to
you. You did not present the required documentation, nor pass a
test as to your knowledge of the laws, nor demonstrate your ability to
operate a motor vehicle. No license...Guilty!
The punishment set forth by law is imposed. Case closed...next case.
Again, from Title 8 ...-
"Deportation
- The formal removal of an alien from the United States when the alien
has been found removable for violating the immigration laws.
Deportation is ordered by an immigration judge without any punishment
being imposed or contemplated. Prior to April 1997 deportation and
exclusion were separate removal procedures. The Illegal Immigration
Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 consolidated these
procedures. After April 1, 1997, aliens in and admitted to the United
States may be subject to removal based on deportability. Now called
Removal, this function is managed by U.S. Immigration and Customs
Enforcement."
(see - Alien) (mine)
Case closed...next case. Nothing there about Illegal Immigrants.
Not to be confused with the term "Illegal Immigration" which, of
course, refers to those 'who want to sneak in when no one's looking' and therefore become Aliens.
Now, comes the question. If I know these things, you know these
things and Aliens must know these things since they run when they see
an INS officer, why don't the Libs who hire them for cheap labor but
won't demand that they obey our Laws?
Gives me a headache and....I still can't sing
